OmniZare is an innovative technology company applying its expertise to revolutionize medical imaging. We are combining groundbreaking technical insight with recent technological advances, increasing processing power, and price reductions in components to develop imaging solutions that are 100x less expensive and 10,000x safer than existing solutions.

Using dielectric tomography to measure the electrical properties of human tissue, we are able to produce a new solution that produces highly accurate images.

OmniZare’s technology is well-positioned to capture a significant portion of medical imaging market, which is projected to reach more than $60B by 2030.

  • Andre Kurs, PhD

    Co-CEO & Founder

    Dr. Andre Kurs serves as the co-CEO of OmniZare and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role, shaping the company’s technical direction. Before co-founding OmniZare, Dr. Kurs was the Co-Founder and Technical Director of WiTricity Corporation from 2007 to 2017. Under his leadership, WiTricity emerged as a global leader in wireless charging technology, revolutionizing the way power is transferred and utilized in a myriad of applications.

    Throughout his tenure at WiTricity, Dr. Kurs demonstrated an unparalleled aptitude for leading cross-functional teams, driving innovation, and delivering cutting-edge technical solutions.

    Dr. Kurs holds an AB in Physics from Princeton University, as well as MS and Doctorate degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Dr. Kurs is named inventor on more than 175 patents.

  • Eric Giler

    Co-CEO & Founder

    Eric Giler is a seasoned executive with a distinguished track record of founding and developing companies, most recently serving as CEO of Speedy Packets Inc. Previously, he was CEO of WiTricity Corporation from 2008 to 2014 and Director until 2016, where he played a pivotal role in driving the advancement of wireless power transfer technology. Before his tenure at WiTricity, Giler served as CEO and Chairman of Groove Mobile from 2006 to 2008, where he spearheaded the company's efforts in mobile entertainment and digital music distribution.

    Giler was Founder and CEO of Brooktrout Inc. from 1984 to 2005, where he helped pioneer innovative communication technologies, establishing the company as a frontrunner in the development of voice, fax, and data communications solutions.

    Giler holds a BS from Carnegie-Mellon University and earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School. Giler is a Trustee of Carnegie-Mellon University and a Lifetime Overseer for Mass General Brigham (Newton-Wellesley Hospital). Giler is a named inventor on more than 35 patents.

  • Katie Hall, PhD

    Intellectual Property

    Dr. Hall brings her extensive expertise to serve as the IP Advisor for OmniZare. In addition to her role at the company, Dr. Hall has been a Distinguished Lecturer at Wellesley College since 2017, where she shares her wealth of knowledge and insights with the next generation of aspiring technologists and innovators.

    Dr. Hall's career includes key leadership positions at prominent technology companies such as MIT Lincoln Labs, Bell Labs ATT, Endeveo, Inc, Speedy Packets and WiTricity Corporation where she spearheaded the development of groundbreaking wireless charging technologies. Before her tenure at WiTricity, Dr. Hall co-founded Wide Net Technologies in 2003 and was Chief Technology Officer, Director, and Co-Founder of PhotonEx.

    Dr. Hall holds a BA from Wellesley College and earned an MS and PhD from MIT where she honed her expertise at the intersection of technology and intellectual property. Dr. Hall is a named inventor on more than 175 patents.

  • Patrick Keith-Hynes, PhD

    Software Systems

    Dr. Keith-Hynes brings extensive experience in the development of medical devices in research and commercial settings. At the University of Virginia Center for Diabetes Technology his research team developed a real time closed-loop insulin delivery system that powered the first smartphone based human trials outside of a hospital setting.

    As co-founder and CTO of TypeZero Technologies, Dr. Keith-Hynes led development of commercial real-time insulin delivery software. He has published numerous papers on the architecture, efficacy and security of closed-loop insulin delivery in technical and medical journals including The Lancet, and has presented talks at the Diabetes Technology Meeting and the Advanced Technologies & Treatments for Diabetes conference. Keith-Hynes also was Co-Founder of Brooktrout Inc.

    Dr. Keith-Hynes earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and a PhD in Computational Physics from the University of Virginia.

  • Jon Sirota

    Manufacturing & Operations

    Jon Sirota brings a wealth of experience in manufacturing and operations with over six decades of work in various industries. He began his career at Raytheon Corporation in the Radar Systems Division before moving on to positions in several different technology and military companies including founding Memory Technology Corp which produced the first commercial read-only memory systems.

    He spent over two decades at Brooktrout Inc. as president of the NetAccess Division which developed the company's groundbreaking voice and fax systems.

    Currently, he serves as the part-time director of Operations for WiTricity where he leads the Development of Wireless Power Transfer systems and International Standards for their implementation and deployment.

    Sirota holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MS from MIT.

  • Mike Barta

    Mechanical Design

    Mike Barta has been designing, building, fabricating and repairing mechanical devices since his teens. He was recently granted a mechanical design patent on an innovative basement bulkhead stair railing system he created, prototyped and will eventually bring to market.  

    Early in his career, Barta worked at Bell Telephone Laboratories doing state-of-the-art heat transfer design and analysis for transmission-level telecommunications equipment, as well as doing early research into integrated circuit electrostatic discharge sensitivity. 

    Barta joined GCC Technologies as their first mechanical engineering hire, designing game consoles and personal computers.

    Barta holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

  • Paul Deninger

    Paul Deninger is a seasoned and visionary corporate leader with a distinguished career spanning over three decades in technology, finance, and strategy. As CEO of Broadview, he built the technology industry's leading independent M&A advisory firm, growing revenue 600% in the process

    In addition to his role at OmniZare, Deninger serves on the boards of directors of Resideo (NYSE: REZI) and EverQuote (NASDAQ: EVER). Deninger previously served on the Board of Directors for Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM) from 2010 to 2021, playing a key role in steering the company's strategic direction and growth initiatives.

    Deninger is currently an Operating Partner with Material Impact, a deep tech venture fund he joined in 2021.

    Deninger holds a BS from Boston College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

  • Preston Ford

    Preston Ford has served as a Board Member at OmniZare since the company’s founding.

    From 2014 to 2017, Ford co-founded and served as a Director at Speedy Packets. Prior to Speedy, Preston co-founded and was co-managing director of BlockCross Holdings, an equity trading platform revolutionizing the trading of large blocks of stock.

    Ford began his entrepreneurial journey with the founding of The LongView Group in 1982. As Founder and President, he guided the software firm to success, automating the trade-order management and compliance monitoring for 75 of the world’s largest investment management firms from offices in Boston, London, and Singapore. LongView was sold to Paris-based Linedata in 2001.

    Ford holds a BS from MIT and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

  • William Chin, MD

    Dr. William Chin is the Bertarelli Professor of Translational Medical Science and Medicine Emeritus, Harvard Medical School (HMS) and a former executive leader in pharmaceutical R&D.

    He was Chief, Division of Genetics, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and HMS, and Investigator, Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Dr. Chin is a world renowned scientist who has performed basic science research in the hormonal regulation of gene expression.

    He was also a former Senior Vice President and Head of Global Research at Eli Lilly and Company; Executive Dean for Research, HMS; and Executive Vice President and Chief, Medical Officer, PhRMA.

    Dr. Chin holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Harvard Medical School and is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.

  • Edward Legare, MD

    Dr. Edward Legare serves on OmniZare’s Medical Advisory Board, bringing his extensive internal medicine and medical leadership expertise to the organization. His contributions help shape medical policies and strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.

    Since 1995, Dr. Legare has been practicing internal medicine at Mass General Brigham. In 1997, Dr. Legare co-founded Newton-Wellesley Primary Care, where he continues to provide comprehensive primary care services.

    Dr. Legare served as a Major in the US Army, where he completed his internship and residency from 1989 to 1995. In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Legare is a Trustee at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

    Dr. Legare earned his BS degree from the University of Notre Dame and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine.
